The rugged Pro-Tech 8 Titan glove can satisfy any firefighter�s craving for dexterity, flexibility, grip, comfort and fit. The varied multi-layer design, using durable knitted high performance fibers, allows incredibly fast, soft and comfortable break in with thermal protection that actually increases after washing. The gloves will remain soft and flexible after use. The inner liner is 100% knitted Nomex� and the Titan is also fully lined with 100% Kevlar, which provides much greater cut resistance than leather alone.
The palm side outermost layer is water repellent suede goat skin tanned and designed to resist cracking, peeling, and stiffening while also providing a sure grip when wet
The ring and middle finger sections are cut and sewn independently for enhanced dexterity
Palm side underneath suede is a full layer, fingertip to cuff edge, of blended Kevlar�/Nomex� plus two partial layers of 100% Nomex� that run from mid-palm to the cuff edge
The inner liner on the palm side is another full layer of 100% Nomex�
The back side of the outer layer is water repellent suede goat skin leather, which covers the fingertip area, a 1" wide welt along the finger crotch and the knuckle guard to the cuff edge
Under the leather portions on the glove back side is a fingertip to cuff-edge full layer of 100% Kevlar� and another full layer of 100% Nomex�
The inner liner on the back side is another full layer of 100% Nomex�
The knuckle guard portion has an outer layer of 100% Kevlar�, one layer of 100% Nomex� and two layers of silicon carbide both fused to 100% Kevlar�, another layer of 100% Kevlar� and another layer of 100% Nomex�
The finger side walls are comprised of an outer layer Kevlar�/Nomex�, and two underneath layers of 100% Nomex�
The glove inner layers are fully lined with a double layer of highly breathable polyurethane, completely sealed in the finger and sidewall area to prevent blood borne pathogen and liquid penetration
The cuff area construction is supported by separate inner and outer layers of leather welting to prevent moisture wicking and to enhance support and durability
100% Kevlar� high burst thread is used throughout and the cuff edge piping is 100% Kevlar�
